Calrossy Alumni Vale

It is with great sadness that we report the passing of Calrossy Alumni and extend our sympathy and prayers to their memories.

We have some very sad news for the Calrossy Alumni community with the passing of Ruth Munro. Ruth was a much loved and respected English and History teacher at Calrossy who was involved with the School between 1967 to 2007. Ruth suffered a stroke several years ago and has been residing at Nazareth House. She made a huge impact on many Calrossy ex students, with an overwhelming response received on social media to her sad passing. As ex student Jill Sculthorpe (nee Russell) said "Miss Munro, memories of your English lessons are sweet. You pushed us to do our best, but were gentle and kind. You cared about us and understood what it meant for us to be far from home"
