Curriculum

Calrossy Anglican School strives to implement the New South Wales BOSTES curriculum while at the same time nurturing students and instilling in them a love of learning. In seeking to promote educational excellence the school has developed a commitment to personal attention for students, an emphasis on literacy, numeracy and inquiry skills and the integration of technology use and skills are imbedded across the curriculum.

 

All students from Kindergarten to Year 6 study the mandatory core curriculum which includes English, Mathematics, Science and Technology, Human Society and its Environment including History and Geography, Personal Development, Health and Physical Education, Creative and Practical Arts and a school-based program of Christian Studies.

 

Calrossy aims for excellence in all aspects of teaching and learning, aiming to ensure that each child is continuously challenged to seek new horizons and areas of growth. Staff are constantly being updated and challenged through regular professional development opportunities focusing on teaching and curriculum change.

  • Secondary Girls Facilities

    Calrossy has four boarding facilities for Secondary Girls, conveniently located on or near the Brisbane Street Campus.

  • Secondary Boys Facilities

    Our boys' boarding facility is located near the William Cowper Campus and central to Tamworth.
