* a timetabled course extending over one period each week
in Year 10. Students have opportunities to appraise employment
trends and job growth areas. The role of Occupational Health
and Safety, Workers Compensation and Employee Union groups
is reviewed and discussed. Students become familiar with
post school education options such as TAFE, industry traineeships,
and university education.
* three extended Inservice courses: Choices in Year 10 conducted
for students with their parents; Preparation for HSC and
Beyond in Year 11, and Tertiary Education in Year 12 conducted
for students with their parents.
* ongoing support for individual students in Years 11 and
12 provided by the school's Career officer.
