A Sense Of Community - Tamworth

The Tamworth community is important to Calrossy.

The school sport is conducted through the local competitions. Many of the school's elite athletes are selected to work with NIAS, the Northern Inland Academy of Sport.

Students participate in the local creative arts events; art displays, music concerts, drama, public speaking, eisteddfods and other special events.

Students support local charities by helping to raise money.

Many students, including boarders, have part time employment at local businesses.

Local businesses generously support the school's career programs.

Throughout a given year Calrossy employs over 120 local people. The school's preference is to purchase goods and services from local suppliers.
