YEARS 9-12, DESIGN AND TECHNOLOGY

Design and Technology is available as an elective course of either 100 or 200 hours in Years 9 and 10 or as a 2 unit HSC subject in Years 11 and 12.

Design and Technology offers the opportunity for students to be creative, learn project management skills and enjoy hands on experience by producing functional products.
Students learn to generate their designs graphically using specialized drawing equipment including CAD in the fully equipped design studio.

They can then move next door into the technology workshop to produce their ideas using a variety of materials including wood, plastic and metals with machine and hand tools.
