Hospitality
This course is structured to provide the students with real
life catering experiences.
Throughout their two senior years, students develop catering
skills to the level skills of a second year apprentice chef.
Throughout these years students works closely with the Calrossy
kitchen staff assisting with catering for large functions.
This gives the students the opportunites to use commercial
cooking equipment and to work with people in the industry
in a familiar environment.
Students are encouraged to enter the World Skills Cookery
competition.
This school boasts State and National winners in this competition,
as well as top 10 place getters in the HSC.
