Studies Of Religion

Studies of Religion encourages students to explore how people construct meaning for their lives within the context of their culture and religious experience.

Students look at the major religions and how they interrelate in the complex world in which we live.

They consider the development of Australian culture and religion and how multiculturalism has affected all we do.

The major study in Year 12 is a cross religion study where students compare the teachings of two religious traditions on a major issue, such as human sexuality or bioethics.
