Society & Culture
This senior course of study is for students who are interested
in people and how people interact with each other.
It is a course which encourages analysis and assessment of
other cultures and how people can change over time in what
they value.
Concurrent with their investigation of stability and change
in cultures, students are encouraged to examine their place
in their own culture.
The social research methodologies are strengths of this course
which will assist students in a vast range of tertiary courses.
In a world which appears to be increasingly more complex,
this course provides many of the intellectual tools to help
students understand why some traditions remain timeless and
precious while others represent impediments to global citizenry.
