Our Curriculum

Calrossy Anglican School offers a variety of core and elective subjects designed to prepare students for a range of opportunities in tertiary studies and career pathways. For further details of these subjects as taught at Calrossy Anglican School in 2008, please contact the school.  If you require formal descriptions of the syllabus for each of these subjects visit the NSW Department of Education Board of Studies site.

At Calrossy Anglican School an increasing range of subject choices are available, across campuses, to students at senior level.  However, some subjects may only be offered if numbers warrant a class.  In the event that a particular subject required by a student is not offered in Years 11 and 12, opportunities will be sought for students to enrol with an external provider.

Students in Years 11 and 12 can follow different HSC pathways and complete vocational courses at TAFE or at school when they are offered. Currently some senior students are undertaking school-based traineeships linking HSC studies with workplace developed competencies.

Current subject choices include, but are not limited to Agriculture, Agricultural Technology, Modern and Ancient History, Australian History, Geography, Civics and Citizenship, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Business Studies , Christian Studies, Commerce, Design and Technology, Drama, Earth Sciences, Economics, English, Food Technology, French, Geography, Hospitality, Information and Software Technology and Design, Japanese,  Music, Personal Development, Health and Physical Education, Photography,  Society and Culture, Studies in Religion , Technology, Textiles Technology, Textiles and Design, Visual Arts and extension courses.
