A word of welcome from our Head of Campus
Calrossy Anglican School - Brisbane Street Campus, is committed to continuing its long tradition of providing quality education for girls. It is a rich and vibrant learning community in which effective pastoral care, within a Christian framework, underpins all programs and activities.
We aim to prepare our students for lifelong learning, helping each one to strive for high standards in academic subjects, in sporting and cultural pursuits. Our students are encouraged to explore their strengths and realise their potential in an environment that is supportive and which provides a breadth of experiences. Academic results, for students across the whole spectrum of abilities and interests, are testament to the expertise and commitment of staff, as is our strong history of success in sport, music, drama, public speaking and debating and many other areas.
Girls in Year 11 and 12 are joined by a small number of boys for some subjects on this campus and the senior girls have the option of expanding their subject choices by choosing a subject which is offered on the William Cowper campus.
Our boarding community has a very special place at Calrossy with the boarding house providing a ‘home away from home’ for over 190 boarders.
