Scholarships
Academic Scholarships (ACER)
The school awards scholarships on the basis of the ACER co-operative examination, held in February each year. Academic scholarships include part remission of tuition fees. They are available to students entering into Years 7, 9 and 11, and are tenable for duration of the student's secondary education, subject to satisfactory conduct and progress.
Registration for the ACER Exam for 2013 has now closed. Details will be posted here when they become available for the test for 2014.
Music Scholarships
Music scholarships are available to students of outstanding musical ability and are awarded on the basis of interview and audition (held in August each year). Music scholarships which provide part remission of tuition fees are available for students entering Years 7, 9 and 11.
The Music scholarship is tenable for duration of the student's secondary education; however, it will become void in Year 11 if the student does not choose to study music as a subject at HSC level.
Applicants must be a minimum level of AMEB Grade 3 or equivalent, and the application form must be submitted by the last day of May.

Visual Arts Scholarships
Visual Arts scholarships are available for students of outstanding artistic ability and are awarded on the basis of a portfolio. Scholarships are available to students entering Years 8-11 and include part remission of tuition fees. The Visual Arts scholarship is tenable for duration of the student's secondary education, however, it will become void in Year 11 if the student does not choose to study art as a subject. Application forms and portfolios should be submitted by the last day of May.

Dance Scholarships
Dance scholarships are available to students of outstanding ability in dance and are awarded on the basis of interview and audition (held in August each year). Dance scholarships are available to students entering Years 9-11 and include part remission of tuition fees.
The Dance scholarship is tenable for duration of the student's secondary education; however, it will become void in Year 11 if the student does not choose to study dance as a subject.
The application form must be submitted by the last day of May.

Drama Scholarships
Drama scholarships are available to students of outstanding ability and are awarded on the basis of interview and audition (held in October each year). Drama scholarships are available to students entering Years 9-11, and includes part remission of tuition fees. The Drama scholarship is tenable for duration of the student's secondary education; however, it will become void in Year 11 if the student does not choose to study drama as a subject.
The application form must be submitted by the last day of May.

The William Cowper Scholarships
This scholarship includes part remission of tuition fees and is only awarded to an applicant considered worthy of the offer. It can be given to a student in any year of secondary boys' schooling who is not yet a member of Calrossy Anglican School. The William Cowper Scholarship is awarded on the basis of interview, documented work and reports.
The successful applicant would need to show that they will make a significant positive contribution to the life of the school across a range of activities that may include academic studies, music, sport, agriculture, Christian involvement, public speaking and debating.
The award would be tenable for the duration of attendance at Calrossy Anglican School, subject to satisfactory attitude and application. It would be expected that while holding the scholarship that the student would actively participate in the areas of school life that were the basis for the awarding of this scholarship.
The application form must be submitted by the last day of May.

Isolated Children's Parents' Association (ICPA) Awards
ICPA Awards are available for full time boarders entering any year level, and are for part remission of tuition fees. Scholarships are awarded to a student from an isolated area whose parents are members of the ICPA. Scholarships are tenable for the duration of the applicant's secondary education. Application forms must be submitted by the last day of July.

The Gloria Thew Award for Boarders
The Gloria Thew Award is means tested, and provides for part remission of boarding fees. It is open to students entering Years 7-11, and application forms must be submitted by the last day of July.
Bursaries
Bursary assistance on tuition fees may also be available to parents who earnestly desire a Christian education for their children but who find the costs of full fees financially prohibitive. For further information, please make an appointment to discuss this with the Business Manager, who can be contacted on (02) 67672 601.
Applications for bursaries need to be lodged the year prior to enrolment.
