Abbie brings home the medals.
A big congratulations to our amazing Calrossy Year 7 student, Abbie Peet, who took part in the Athletics NSW Country Championships on the weekend at Mingara. 12-year-old Abbie competed in the Para Athlete class, which is an open class, which meant the young runner was up against girls as old at 20. Abbie took a massive five seconds of her PB to bring home a silver medal in the 400 metres, she also finished second in the 800 metres, fifth in the 100 metres and fourth in the 200 metres. In two weeks Abbie will race in the 2021 ACPE Junior Athletics Championship at Homebush. Well done Abbie, Calrossy is very proud of you.
