Calrossy Rugby prepping for white line fever !

Goldsworthy Oval is preparing to take its place alongside the rugby pitches of Twickernam as it comes to life with field markings after 6 months of hard work.

It’s hard to imagine that only in February this year the oval was in such a bad state and is now lush and ready for our teams to take to the field to test their skills against the regions best schools.

Head Coach Conrad Starr thanked the Calrossy Parents and Friends Association, the School executives and also gave a special mention to Mr Russell Ison and Mr Mathew Gardiner along with their respective companies BASF Agriculture and AMPS agribusiness for their professional advice and support with this project.

Captain of the First XV, Mitchell Watts said the whole School will benefit from the rejuvenated oval and be able to showcase their talents on field and make Goldsworthy Oval a fortress for future of Calrossy Rugby.

The first games are scheduled in the coming weeks.
