An Afternoon with Owen Finegan

The Calrossy Foundation is excited to announce an Afternoon with former Wallaby, ACT Brumbies and Randwick Player Owen Finegan.

Owen has been described as an icon of Australian sport and “One of the true characters of the game". Owen is also the CEO of the Kids’ Cancer project and Calrossy Anglican School will be making a donation to support this important work.

Since its launch in 2019 the Calrossy Foundation has already supported the construction of the Multi Use Classroom block containing science, art, drama and general teaching spaces by contributing $350,000. The Foundation is continuing our commitment to regional educational  through our Scholarship, Library and Bursary funds, which together is bettering regional educational opportunities for students.

School Development Coordinator, Michael Wilson said “To have Owen coming to Tamworth to share with us what it was like to be a Wallaby and represent our nation is a real treat. I am sure no lover of rugby would want to miss hearing these stories. In 2022 we will be welcoming our biggest ever intake of Year 7 students, the commencement of another Multi Use Classroom building featuring music spaces and 250 seat tiered space, which will be utilised between our Junior School and 7-9 students".
