Our Curriculum

Students are in co-educational classes where the focus is on building a solid foundation for success.

Calrossy Anglican School implements the curriculum of the New South Wales Education Standards Authority (NESA) while at the same time encouraging growth through opportunity and instilling in children a love of learning by making the experience fun and relevant. In seeking to promote educational excellence, Calrossy has developed a commitment to personal attention and success for students at every stage. We focus an on literacy, numeracy, creativity and inquiry skills, alongside the integration of technology.

All students at Calrossy Junior School from Kindergarten to Year 6 study the mandatory core curriculum which includes English, Mathematics, Science and Technology, Human Society and its Environment including History and Geography, Personal Development, Health and Physical Education, Creative and Practical Arts and a school-based program of Christian Studies.

Specialist lessons in music, language, performance opportunities, excursions and a range of clubs and activities contribute to a holistic educational experience where curiousity is peaked and learning and growth flourish.
