Indigenous Rugby Round

Calrossy is proud to partner with Tamworth Rugby Club for a special Indigenous Round of Rugby Union on Saturday, May 3, celebrating the rich culture and contributions of our Indigenous community – on and off the field.

This significant event is an opportunity to honour and support our Indigenous students, players, families, and community members, while showcasing the strength that comes from inclusiveness and working together.

As a key sponsor of the day, Calrossy extends a warm invitation to our Indigenous families, staff, students, Old Scholars and the broader community to join us in a day of connection, celebration and country rugby. Whether you're part of our School, part of the local region, or simply a proud supporter – this event is for you.

What to Expect:

  • Rugby matches throughout the day featuring Indigenous players
  • A special Acknowledgement of Country and cultural recognition activities
  • Light refreshments provided for guests
  • Welcome area hosted by Calrossy staff and student leaders
  • Opportunity to connect with Calrossy's Indigenous Program and broader School life

This day is a powerful expression of our core values, and a reflection of the genuine relationships that exist between Calrossy and the wider community. Most importantly, it is a celebration of our young people – strong, proud, and full of potential.

Together, we recognise the past, celebrate the present, and invest in a future of hope and unity. Please let us know if you are coming.
