Sport is an important part of Junior School life at Calrossy — building confidence, teamwork, resilience and wellbeing, while giving every student the opportunity to have a go and be part of a team.

Have a go. Find your sport. See how far you can go.

Whether trying something new, playing with friends, striving for a personal best or competing at representative level, sport at Calrossy encourages every child to get involved and give it their best.

Junior School students enjoy diverse sporting opportunities through the curriculum, co-curricular activities and representative pathways. Specialist PDHPE develops skills, confidence, teamwork and sportsmanship, with experiences including gymnastics and Swim and Survive.

For students wanting to take their sport further, Calrossy’s membership of the Hunter Region Independent Schools (HRIS) Sports Association provides pathways through to CIS and PSSA competition.
