Calrossy sees sport as integral to the Wellbeing of each boy and girl in the Junior School. Sport is also encouraged beyond the School with Calrossy represented in various city-based competitions.

Our Infants and Primary students are encouraged to pursue the many opportunities available to them as part of the curriculum and in co-curricular and representative pathways.

Calrossy students participate in:

  • rugby
  • netball
  • cricket
  • basketball
  • hockey
  • football
  • equestrian
  • tennis
  • bouldering
  • touch football
  • athletics
  • swimming
  • cross country
  • and more

All Junior School students also participate in a specialised PDHPE program as part of their regular schooling. This includes activities such as gymnastic, swim and survive, ensuring a focus on gross and fine motor skills as well as sportsmanship and teamwork.

Calrossy is part of the Hunter Region Independent Schools (HRIS) Sports Association. This pathway enables students to progress to CIS and PSSA.
