Beyond the classroom, Calrossy Middle School is filled with opportunities to have a go, develop existing talents and discover new interests.
Students can explore Music, Art, Dance, Drama, Agriculture, Equestrian, Chess, debating, public speaking, technology and academic challenges, with opportunities to perform, compete, create and represent the School.
Our working property, Tangara Farm, opens the door to hands-on Agriculture and the Calrossy Cattle and Sheep Teams, while Science and Engineering challenges, performances, House Music, Calrossy in Concert and other special events add even more variety to Middle School life.
The XP Program takes exploration even further. Available to students in Years 5–10, XP offers a changing range of experiences based on student interests, encouraging students to step beyond their usual subjects, learn new skills and connect with students across different year groups.
Our Expedition Program provides another dimension, taking students beyond the familiar through shared experiences designed to build confidence, resilience, teamwork and friendships.
Whether they already know what they love or are still figuring it out, Middle School gives students the freedom and opportunity to try more, experience more and find their thing.
