Calrossy Anglican School proudly marked the end of the school year with two special Presentation Day ceremonies held on the William Cowper Campus, recognising and celebrating student success, effort and growth across all areas of school life.

The Junior School Presentation Day was held on Wednesday, 10th December, followed by the Secondary School Presentation Day on Thursday, 11th December. Each event acknowledged excellence in academic achievement, consistent effort, growth in learning, co-curricular activities, sport, community service and citizenship.

Students were celebrated not only for their accomplishments, but for the character and values they displayed throughout the year – reflecting Calrossy’s commitment to developing young people grounded in Resilience, Selflessness, Integrity and Inclusiveness.

There was also much excitement surrounding the presentation of the House Shields.

In the Junior School, Nicholls House claimed top honours, while Cuthbert House was named champion for the Secondary School – recognising the collective spirit and achievements of students throughout the year.

The Junior School event also included a warm farewell to the Year 6 Class of 2025 – including students from eCalrossy – as they prepare to transition into Middle School. The Junior School Band delivered a delightful performance, and the 2025 Junior School Captains spoke beautifully before the announcement of the 2026 Captains and House Captains.

The Secondary Presentation Day featured a thoughtful address by The Honourable John Anderson AC, who spoke about integrity, responsibility and leadership in today’s world. A special highlight was the presentation of the Calrossy Values Awards, recognising students who exemplify the School’s Christian ethos in their daily lives.

This year’s events also marked a significant milestone in the history of the School, with Principal Mr David Smith and his wife Julie farewelled at both ceremonies. The Secondary event was especially moving, as the couple exited the Bishop Peter Chiswell Hall together for the final time – a symbolic and heartfelt moment for the Calrossy community.

We warmly thank all students, staff, families, friends and supporters who attended both events to help celebrate the achievements of our students. Your encouragement and partnership mean so much.

Photo galleries from both days are available to view through the Calrossy HUB.

As we look to 2026, we give thanks for a year of growth, learning and community, and remain committed to our mission of developing young people who are truly “Creators of hope and change that matters.”
