Class of 2025 graduate Tom Holmes has capped off his Calrossy schooling with significant sporting achievements, representing at top levels in both hockey and cross country.
In hockey, Tom was selected to represent HRIS (Hunter Region Independent Schools), AICES (Association of Independent Co-Educational Schools) and CIS (Combined Independent Schools). At CIS level, he was chosen—alongside fellow Calrossy student Max Brown—to represent AICES Open Boys, a notable accomplishment in NSW school sport.
In cross country, Tom also represented Calrossy, HRIS and AICES, demonstrating his athletic versatility and commitment.
While Tom competed on the field, Max Brown (Year 10) also pursued the umpiring pathway, further highlighting the breadth of sporting opportunities at Calrossy.
Balancing academic commitments with high-level sport, Tom has consistently shown discipline and drive. His efforts reflect the broad opportunities Calrossy provides for students to excel in co-curricular pursuits.
