Get Ready for the Ultimate Alumni Clash!
We are excited to announce that Red v Blue is back for 2026, one of the most celebrated events on the School’s alumni calendar.
Set to take place on Saturday 3rd October, 2026 at Scully Park, this iconic clash will see alumni from all decades come together to compete under the lights for the first time in a weekend full of pride, energy, and school spirit.
“Red v Blue has always been more than just a game,” said Michael Wilson School Development Coordinator.
“It’s about reconnecting, celebrating with our School community, and creating memories that last a lifetime and having our Under 16 Teams play the curtain raiser games makes for a huge afternoon.”
The Calrossy Alumni are the heartbeat of the community and events like Red v Blue are driven by the Alumni allow past students to stay connected, share their experiences, and inspire the next generation. The ongoing involvement of the Alumni Community enriches Calrossy in countless ways, from mentoring and volunteering to supporting programs and celebrating achievements the Alumni Community are creators of hope and change that matters.
Old Boys’ Red Captain, Michael Handley said "For the Old Boys, Red v Blue is a chance to reconnect with lifelong friends and relive some of the most memorable moments of our school years and playing on Friday nights together. It’s about camaraderie, pride, and giving back to the community that shaped us."
While rugby for the Old Girls’ is a growing sport across the School has seen many of our Alumni take up the game later with Old Girls Blue Team player Julia Abra said; "It’s about celebrating history, friendships, and the sense of belonging that comes from being part of the Calrossy Community. Red v Blue is the perfect opportunity to come together, reconnect, and have fun."

- Playing under the lights at Scully Park for an unforgettable atmosphere.
- Under 16 Boys and Girls to play the curtain raiser.
- The Prickly Thistles Alumni Band will be back to entertain the crowd.
Alumni from all years invited to nominate and participate, with nominations to be called for soon. It is also a great opportunity for Alumni to organise their reunions around this date.
