A team of Calrossy students represented the School with distinction at the 2024 Upper Hunter Beef Bonanza, held in Scone from 23–26 October. Across steer, heifer, parader and meat judging classes, students demonstrated excellent preparation, skill and teamwork.

In the Steer and Heifer classes:

Class 3A – Heifers : Kamilaroi Madi V36 , led by Elliot Fenton – Highly Commended

Class 3B – Heifers : Kamilaroi Madi V24 , led by Tegan Rhodes – 5th Place

Class 3 – Lightweight Steer : Calrossy Yoda – Highly Commended

Class 6 – Light Middleweight Steer : Calrossy Hulk led by Ellie McCulloch – 4th Place

Class 12 – Heavy Middleweight Steer : Calrossy Ironman led by Evy Walsh – 4th Place

Class 14 – Heavy Middleweight Steer : Calrossy Joker led by Grace Newcombe (Year 10) – 2nd Place

Class 15 – Heavy Middleweight Steer : Calrossy Captain America led by Hayley Hodges (Year 11) – 2nd Place
