Wellbeing in Action: Tomorrow Man and Woman Programs Shape the Future

With the conclusion of their final workshops this term, Calrossy’s Year 10 and 11 students have now completed the full Tomorrow Man and Tomorrow Woman series — an experience that continues to enrich the student journey.

Delivered in partnership with Tomorrow Man and Tomorrow Woman , the programs are built around guided conversations that foster reflection, resilience, and connection in young people as they navigate adolescence and prepare for adulthood.

Throughout the year, students took part in four modules tailored by gender to create safe and honest spaces for personal growth.

For the girls, the Tomorrow Woman journey included:

  • Unpacking Her Code
  • Her Influence
  • Her Edge
  • and most recently, Your Voice

These sessions explored gender, identity, stereotypes, relationships, boundaries and belonging. The final workshop focused on self-expression, confidence, and compassion — encouraging the girls to understand and honour their inner voice.

For the boys, the Tomorrow Man program guided students through:

  • Breaking the Man Code
  • Behind the Armour
  • Next Base
  • and Write Your Own Code

Themes of masculinity, connection, resilience, communication and accountability were explored across the sessions, with the final module prompting students to reflect on legacy, purpose, and the kind of man they aspire to be.

After the final workshops, students and facilitators gathered for lunch together on the front lawn of the Brisbane Street Campus. This relaxed and reflective setting offered a valuable opportunity for connection, conversation, and informal debriefing, reinforcing the strong relationships built over the course of the program.

“Our partnership with Tomorrow Man and Tomorrow Woman has become a valuable part of our whole-school wellbeing approach,” said Kelli Cato, Deputy Principal.

“These programs give students the tools and language to reflect deeply, relate with empathy, and step into their identity with confidence. The ripple effect is clear — we're seeing stronger connections, greater emotional awareness, and a shift in how students support one another.”

The impact of the Tomorrow Man and Tomorrow Woman programs extends well beyond the workshops themselves. They have contributed to a more grounded and emotionally aware school environment, where students are better equipped to navigate relationships, manage pressure, and grow with self-assurance. At Calrossy, this kind of personal development is a vital part of preparing students not just for school life, but for life beyond the gates.

“Through programs like Tomorrow Woman, the girls have learned the value of vulnerability, which has in turn strengthened their relationships and fostered a more authentic and supportive environment within the cohort,” said Laura Yeo, Year 11 Year Advisor.

“Seeing students open up, support one another, and challenge the pressures of judgement and peer expectations has reaffirmed for me the power of creating safe spaces for young people. It’s reinforced that wellbeing isn’t about perfection — it’s about connection, kindness, and being seen for who you truly are.”
