We know that children learn best when they feel happy, healthy, connected and supported. That is why wellbeing is part of everyday life at Calrossy, caring for the academic, social, emotional, spiritual and physical needs of every student.
We know children learn best when they feel happy, healthy, connected and supported. That is why wellbeing is woven into everyday life at Calrossy, helping students develop the confidence, resilience and relationships they need to thrive.
Our Junior School Wellbeing approach includes URSTRONG’s Friendology program, giving students practical, age-appropriate skills to build healthy friendships, navigate challenges and develop positive relationships. Wellbeing is further supported through PDHPE, character strengths, our Focus for the Fortnight and dedicated wellbeing initiatives throughout the year.
Classroom teachers are at the heart of student care, supported by our Wellbeing and Chaplaincy teams, and Health Centre nursing staff. Together, they provide layers of care to ensure students feel safe, connected and ready to learn.
Christian Studies remain an important part of Junior School life, providing opportunities for students to explore faith, hope and what it means to care for and serve others.
We welcome families of all faiths and backgrounds, creating an inclusive community where every child can feel they belong.
