Meet Mrs Lisa Hinwood

Head of Enrolments and Community

Choosing a school can bring plenty of questions — and that's exactly what our Enrolments Team is here for.

As Head of Enrolments and Community, Lisa works with families throughout their Calrossy journey, from their first enquiry and school tour through to application, enrolment and commencement.

With a strong understanding of Calrossy and our regional community, Lisa can help families explore the different opportunities and pathways available and navigate the enrolment process with confidence.

"Every family's journey to Calrossy is different. Our role is to get to know your family, answer your questions and help you find the right pathway for your child. We look forward to welcoming you and helping you discover where your Calrossy journey could lead."

02

Application

Following your Expression of Interest, you may receive an Invitation to Apply.

The Application provides us with the more detailed information we need to understand your child and how we can best support them at Calrossy. This includes relevant academic, medical and wellbeing information.

If your child has additional learning or support requirements, please provide the relevant information and supporting documentation at this stage.

Providing us with a complete picture of your child's individual needs helps our team prepare for the enrolment process and consider the support they may require at school.

03

Enrolment Interview

The Enrolment Interview is an opportunity for us to get to know your child and family — and for you to get to know us.

We'll talk about your child's strengths, interests, learning, aspirations and individual needs, as well as answer any questions you may have about joining Calrossy.

Where additional learning support has been identified, the enrolment process may also include a Learning Support conversation or assessment.

Applying for Boarding?

Students intending to Board will also participate in a Boarding and Health Interview.

04

Offer & Welcome

Following the enrolment process, successful applicants may receive a formal Offer of Enrolment.

Once your offer has been accepted and the enrolment requirements completed, we'll help your family prepare for commencement.

From uniforms and orientation to important dates and practical information, our team will guide you through the transition and help your child feel ready to begin.

Welcome to Calrossy.

Its never too early

When should I apply?

We recommend starting around 18 months before your preferred commencement date. Applications for some year groups can fill well in advance, particularly at key entry points and for Boarding. Starting early gives your family time to visit Calrossy, explore the opportunities available and move through the enrolment process without feeling rushed.
