University. Training. A trade. Employment. A gap year. An emerging career that may not have existed a decade ago. There is no single pathway beyond School — and at Calrossy, we help students find theirs.

Our dedicated Careers Advisor works closely with students and families throughout Years 10–12, providing individual guidance, current industry knowledge and practical support as students make decisions about subjects, further education, training and employment.

The Calrossy Careers Program takes students through three important stages:

Personal Discovery – understanding their strengths, interests, abilities and what matters to them.

Career Discovery – exploring industries, occupations and possibilities, including where future opportunities may lie.

Pathway Discovery – turning those interests into a plan, identifying the subjects, qualifications, training and experiences that can help them get there.

Along the way, students receive practical support with subject selection, university and tertiary options, vocational education and school-based apprenticeships, scholarships, cadetships, internships, gap years, résumés, applications and interview skills.

Through careers expos, university experiences, industry connections and access to current employment trends, students are encouraged to look beyond School with confidence.

The destination will be different for every student. Our role is to help them discover their direction and understand the steps that can take them there.
